Broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica) Kale (Brassica oleracea var. sabellica L.) Sowing from January for early protected crops in open field with warm pre-cutlivation. The cultivation system is similar to cauliflower. Last sowings at beginning of July. 50x40/50 cm. With a wider spacing the main flower will become more heavy. For sowing in boxes and pricking out 10 g/qm, 1 g for 200-300 plants. For sowing in beds for seedlings 2 g/qm, 1 g for 130-150 plants. 1000 seeds last for 500 plants for sowing in the open field, 600 plants in the unheated greenhouse and 700 plants in the heated greenhouse. Nicely budded flowers indicate right time for harvesting. Description Nero di Toscana Decorative Kale variety with blue-green coloured, rolled-up leaves and distinctive veins. Leaves are picked individually starting from bottom. Atlantis F1 Robust and heat tolerant hybrid with a firm, round head of approx. 500 g. and fine lobes. For Summer and Autumn harvest. 75 days to maturity.
